Sony warranty policy
The warranty for Sony products in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is provided by Modern Electronics Company Limited (hereafter referred to as MEC). The warranty is inclusive of parts, and labor and is subject to the following terms & conditions:
Terms & Conditions:
This warranty is issued by MEC and valid at the MEC service centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or referred to by a warranty card.
This warranty is valid only if the unit is presented along with the original invoice issued by MEC or its authorized distributors/reseller
The warranty is valid for a period as indicated in the Sony products warranty period table and shall commence from the date of the original purchase of the unit. In the event, the dealer fails to put the date of purchase on this warranty card, the date of issue to the dealer by MEC will be considered as the date of the original purchase.
This warranty covers the replacement of parts subject to the Sony products warranty period table.
This warranty will not be honored if the model and/or Serial number on the unit and/or in this warranty card is altered, mutilated, and/or removed.
This warranty will not be honored if the model is not sold by either MEC or one of its authorized distributors/resellers in KSA.
This warranty will not cover the damages due to causes beyond the control of MEC including but not limited to accident, transportation, misuse, abuse, negligence, incorrect installation, improper maintenance application of wrong voltage natural disaster, modification, repair by unauthorized service centers, or any operations inconsistent with the operation manual of the unit.
